Acceptable Use Policy

Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to the AliasMode website, desktop application, and AliasMode Cloud service, and works together with the Terms of Use and the Privacy Notice.

Lawful, responsible use

Use AliasMode lawfully and responsibly. Do not use AliasMode to break the law, harm people, interfere with systems, evade security controls, or violate others’ rights.

Prohibited uses

  • Fraud, phishing, scams, deceptive material, or impersonation.
  • Unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or networks.
  • Distributing malicious software or using AliasMode to attack systems.
  • Spam, harassment, or abuse of people or services.
  • Using profiles to evade legal or technical controls in violation of law.
  • Using the product or its data in any way that violates applicable law or these policies.

Respect third-party services

You are responsible for complying with the terms and laws that apply to any website, platform, or service you access with AliasMode. AliasMode is not responsible for third-party terms or service behavior.

Protect access

Keep your account credentials and devices secure. Do not share credentials with people who are not authorized. Report suspected misuse or breaches to us.

Automation and APIs

The Local API is designed for loopback use on your computer. Do not expose it to a LAN or the internet. Automation must follow the documented API and must not abuse the systems it connects to.

Proxies

Use proxy assignments lawfully and in line with the proxy provider’s terms. AliasMode does not provide proxy services.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this policy and may report unlawful activity where required by law. We try to warn before acting when we reasonably can, but we may act immediately to protect people and systems.
