AliasMode Local
Browser profiles without an AliasMode account.
Local mode keeps AliasMode profile data on one computer and does not connect to AliasMode Cloud. It is the direct path for solo operators who want an account-free profile manager.
What stays Local
Profile records, groups, tags, browser state, and the Local working copy stay on that computer. AliasMode does not upload Local profiles to Cloud unless you explicitly choose a Cloud move.
- No AliasMode account
- No AliasMode Cloud traffic
- Profile data stays on that computer
- Loopback Local API on 127.0.0.1:50400 by default
Network boundary
Local means no AliasMode account and no AliasMode Cloud connection. The browser can still contact websites, proxy servers, DNS and GeoIP services, and update sources as part of normal browsing and setup.
Local automation
The desktop app exposes an optional loopback API at http://127.0.0.1:50400 by default. Supported routes can manage profiles and groups, control browsers, inspect cookies, clear cache, and return a CDP connection.
