Which engine version does each antidetect browser run?

Every antidetect browser runs on a Chromium or Firefox engine. We read the real engine version of 12 browsers on the test day and compared it with the stable Chrome and Firefox of that day. Engine freshness is worth 10 of the 100 points in our benchmark.

We read the engine version from the product itself: its engine files, its app, or the browser. When the user agent claims a newer version than the engine, the engine version counts.

AliasMode Chromium is AliasMode’s own open-source Chromium engine. The tested build, 155.0.8059.85 build 4, ships in AliasMode beta.70 and was tested on 2026-10-29. All other rows were tested on 2026-10-28.

DICloak: user agent 147, engine 142

In our test on 2026-10-28, with DICloak 2.9.9 for Linux on its free plan, the newest user agent that the app offered was “UA 147”. Both profiles claimed Chrome 147. The browser core in the app’s folder was Chrome 142.0.7444.273. BrowserScan reported that the browser version did not match the real version.

Profile A also claimed Windows 8.1 (Windows NT 6.3). Chrome 110 and later do not run on Windows 8.1, so no real Chrome 147 can send that user agent.

The DICloak app for Linux was older than its other builds at the check date (2.9.9 against 3.0.6), so DICloak on Windows or macOS may differ.

GoLogin: Orbita 109 on the first launch

On 2026-10-28, with GoLogin 4.40.7 on its free 7-day trial, a new profile first launched Orbita 109 (Chrome 109). The app showed that the fingerprints were outdated and offered a download of Orbita 109.

After the app’s own “Update profiles” step, both profiles ran Orbita 154.0.8037.97. That run is the one we scored. Profile A, which had run once on Orbita 109, kept an “AVG/147.0.0.0” token in its user agent. Profile B did not.
