Fingerprint quality: can two profiles on one computer be linked?

You run many accounts on one computer so that each account looks like a different person. We tested that directly: two profiles of each antidetect browser, on the same computer and the same IP, with 7 hashed fingerprint signals compared between them. We also counted values that no real browser shows, and ran three public checkers.

Tested 2026-10-28/29

Direct answer

Often, yes. In our test on 2026-10-28/29, two profiles of Octo Browser and AdsPower FlowerBrowser had the same value for all 7 hashed signals. AliasMode Firefox, CloakBrowser (free 146), and DICloak kept 5 of 7 apart, the most in the test. AliasMode Firefox and Camoufox showed no impossible values. AliasMode Firefox was the only browser with both results.

Can two profiles be linked?

For each product, we made two profiles, A and B, with the default settings. Both ran on the same computer with the same IP. A probe page hashed 7 signals in each profile: the canvas 2D image, the WebGL image readback, an audio render, text metrics, DOMRect and emoji size, the font list, and the speech voices. A signal counts when the two hashes differ.

Hashed signals that differ between two profiles on one computer, of 7. More is better. Measured on 2026-10-28/29 on one Linux server with no GPU. Every browser was asked for a Windows identity. Free plans or free trials only.

  9. AdsPower SunBrowser1 of 7
  10. GoLogin1 of 7
  11. Octo Browser0 of 7
  12. AdsPower FlowerBrowser0 of 7

Octo Browser and AdsPower FlowerBrowser shared all 7 values, so these values could not tell the two profiles apart. AliasMode Firefox, CloakBrowser (free 146), and DICloak kept 5 of 7 apart.

A value that was empty in both profiles counts as the same value. On this server with no GPU, WebGL was empty in both profiles of Dolphin Anty, AdsPower SunBrowser, MoreLogin Chrome, and GoLogin, and speech voices were empty in both profiles of DICloak and AdsPower FlowerBrowser.

Separate identities on one device

Cookies are not the only link between accounts. When two accounts show the same canvas image, the same font list, and the same voices, a site can tie them to one computer, even with a different IP for each. This is the test that matters most when you run many accounts on one device.

AliasMode gives you unlimited profiles on one device, free. In this test, two AliasMode Firefox profiles differed on 5 of 7 hashed signals, and AliasMode Firefox showed no impossible values.

Impossible values

An impossible value is a value that a real Windows browser never shows, such as Linux fonts under a Windows identity. A site can read it in one script. We checked 15 of them in each profile, against stock Chrome or stock Firefox on Windows.

Impossible values found in the two profiles of each browser. Measured on 2026-10-28/29 on one Linux server with no GPU. Every browser was asked for a Windows identity. Free plans or free trials only.

AliasMode Firefox and Camoufox showed none: both ship Windows fonts and Windows voices. On most other browsers, the fonts and the speech voices of this Linux server showed through the Windows identity.

In our test, DICloak’s user agent claimed Chrome 147, but its engine was Chrome 142. One DICloak profile also claimed Windows 8.1, and Chrome stopped supporting Windows 8.1 at version 110. One GoLogin profile sent an “AVG/147.0.0.0” token in its user agent next to Chrome 154, which stock Chrome never sends.

Donut Browser’s free plan offers no Windows identity, so it ran with a Linux identity.

CloakBrowser (free 146) was the only browser with CreepJS lies. BrowserScan rated AdsPower SunBrowser, AdsPower FlowerBrowser, and MoreLogin Chrome 100% authentic. Pixelscan called every browser inconsistent, and it found no masking on Donut Browser and Camoufox.

Treat public checkers as a rough guide. Pixelscan often gave no verdict, even for stock Chrome on this server. In the score, the public checkers carry 10 points and the real anti-bot checks 35.

Limits of this test

  • One Linux server with no GPU. On a Windows PC with a graphics card, WebGL, fonts, and voices can give other results.
  • Default settings only. A product can offer options that keep more values apart.
  • Two profiles per product. More profiles can show values that only some of them share.

Frequently asked questions

Do antidetect browser profiles share a fingerprint?

Some do. In our test, two profiles of Octo Browser and AdsPower FlowerBrowser on one computer had the same value for all 7 hashed signals. AliasMode Firefox, CloakBrowser (free 146), and DICloak kept 5 of 7 apart.

Which antidetect browser keeps profiles apart best?

In our test, AliasMode Firefox, CloakBrowser (free 146), and DICloak kept the most hashed signals apart (5 of 7). Of those, only AliasMode Firefox also showed no impossible values.

What is an impossible value in a browser fingerprint?

A value that a real browser never shows, for example Linux fonts under a Windows identity, a user agent that claims a newer engine than the real one, or a Windows version that the browser does not support. A site can check for it in one script.

Are CreepJS, BrowserScan, and Pixelscan good tests?

They are useful to spot problems, but their verdicts vary. Pixelscan often gave no verdict, even for stock Chrome. Real anti-bot checks such as Cloudflare and Fingerprint Pro tell you more about what sites see.
